Inaugural Dinner
The inaugural charity dinner for the The Spencer Steadman Trust will be held at 730pm on the evening of Saturday the 4th of December 2021, at the English-Speaking Union (ESU) in central London. The ESU’s home is a beautiful Grade II* listed townhouse in the heart of Mayfair, built in 1755, and the organisation works to ‘give children a voice, and help them to be heard’. As many of you will know, this is a place where Spencer spent many a evening or weekend, be it debating for his country, or tutoring young debaters of the future.
On this very special evening we will welcome family, old friends, and we hope completely new friends, to raise money for a cause dear to Spencer’s heart – furthering the education of children from disadvantaged areas and backgrounds.
